Amberley Boarding Kennels is family owned by the Appleby’s and run with Amy & Emily with their team who you may all be familiar with, welcoming all holidaying boarders, old and new to Amberley in 2024.
Amberley Boarding Kennels is located in Hambrook, in the heart of rural West Sussex. Amberley is set in 5 acres of fields and woodland, where your pets can enjoy runs in their home away from home. Situated in the centre of the grounds, our spacious and comfortable kennels/paddocks accommodate all breeds, large and small. We offer a variety of sizable spaces to cater for each dog, if you wish to board more than one dog from the same household, we will endeavour to keep them together in a shared kennel (unless otherwise advised).
All of our spaces have indoor controlled heating for cooler nights, paddocks and runs to explore, and an open space to socialise and host all-important doggy play dates (should you wish to mingle your pets with others!). Each kennel has adaptable features to allow your pet to feel comfortable, whatever the weather. Clean, warm, cool and comfortable bedding is provided for all doggy stays, (washed and sanitised between each boarder!) of course, if you wish to bring your pets’ own bedding, toys and any additional items you feel they may want, you are more than welcome to do so. We encourage these items to be labelled, if at all possible.
At Amberley we provide all meals/food and encourage a dry food diet, however we do keep a range of wet food and a variety of other alternatives. We like to incorporate any special diets you may give them at home to ensure they feel settled during their stay and maintain a similar routine. Any specialised dietary requirements are available on request, and all included in the boarding costs.
Many of our boarders, old and young, rely on certain medications. We are very happy to administer this during their stay. We ask that if your pet is taking any form of prescribed medication that this is advised when making the booking and the correct amount is given, labelled, any specific instructions are communicated before leaving the premises.
If it is your pet’s first time staying with us here at Amberley, we would love to hear about any likes/dislikes, personality traits, habits and an overview of their general health. Each of our team members possess a multitude of qualifications, including Pet Industry Federation (PIF) and animal welfare training. Our professional and compassionate team at Amberley are dedicated to ensuring a happy, fun and healthy stay. We prioritise caring for each individual pet and enjoy getting to know our furry friends, guaranteeing lots of TLC whilst here, at Amberley!
